Application

Allow easy installation application for any rotating parts (Rotors, Pulleys, Sprockets, Impellers) to a shaft.

Installation – Remove

Do not use lubricants or anti seize compounds on bushing and hub mounting area.

Bushing Material

  1. Taper bushing material – Close cast iron FG20.

  2. Spheroidal graphite (S.G.) iron for higher stress applications.

  3. As per customer requirement.

Quick Installation

  1. Insert bush in hub and align drilled holes of bushing with tapped holes in hub.

  2. Grease the thread and point of grub screw or, in case of cap screws, grease the threads and under the head. Insert screws through tapped holes in pulley hub and thread loosely.

  3. Position assembly on shaft and tighten screws progressively and uniformly until fully secured grip is obtained.

  4. After the drive has been running under load for a short time, stop and check tightness of screws.

  5. Fill empty holes with grease to exclude dirt.

Tapered Precision Fit

Precision machining of the tapered bore in the component and the tapered mating surface of the bushing ensures a snug, precision fit between rim and bushing.

Fast Remove

  1. Remove screws from hub and thread into tapped holes in bushing. Tighten alternately until bushing is free from hub.

  2. Remove assembly from shaft.

Fully Interchangeable with Other TB Bushings

As in the case of Derk taper bushings & pulleys, they also conform to standardized dimensions. Because of this feature, stock bushings may be interchanged with the same size bushing.
